The data controller is Claudio Lombardo. The website publishes educational content, scientific materials and information about the practice and Barefoot Alpine activities. The protected email contact for privacy requests is available at the end of this policy.
Data processed
The contact form collects your full name, email address, subject and message. These data are needed to receive and answer your request. The form forwards the message to the controller’s email inbox and does not store it in the WordPress database.
Purpose and legal basis
Contact-form data are processed to answer and manage your request. Where the request precedes a possible engagement, the legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps at your request (Article 6(1), point (b) GDPR); in other cases it is the controller’s legitimate interest in managing correspondence received (Article 6(1), point (f)), subject to your rights. Do not use the form to send health data or other special categories of personal data.
Retention
Email copies of messages are kept for the time needed to handle the request and no longer than 12 months after the last reply; they are then deleted unless a legal obligation or the need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims requires otherwise.
Recipients and technical data
Data may be processed by the controller and, where necessary, by technical providers in the hosting, email and website maintenance categories, according to their respective roles and terms. Data are not made public. The hosting provider may process IP address, date and time, requested resource and browser technical data in logs for security and diagnostics, with retention governed by its policy.

The website uses technically necessary cookies to store privacy preferences and provide requested functions. They do not require prior consent.
Analytics
No analytics or statistics service is active on the website, and browsing data are not used to produce visitor statistics.
Third-party content
YouTube and Facebook videos are not loaded automatically. A connection to the relevant external service is made only after an explicit click on an individual video. From that point, the provider may process data under its own privacy policy.
Marketing
The website uses no marketing or profiling tools and makes no automated decisions based on visitor data.
Manage or withdraw consent
Preferences can be changed at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Your choice is stored for up to six months, after which you will be asked again.
